NUC COMMENDS VENITE UNIVERSITY DURING LICENCE VALIDATION , LAUDS RAPID DEVELOPMENT AND STANDARDS

Officials of the National Universities Commission on Monday, 18th May 2026 visited venite university on licence validation. The team assessed the institution’s academic progress, infrastructural development, and compliance with standards in line with global best practices stipulated by the Commission.

Speaking during the exercise, the team lead, Mrs. Victoria Omorodion, commended the Management of Venite University for the remarkable achievements recorded within the short period of existence. She noted that the University had shown significant commitment towards quality education and infrastructural growth. Areas of attention for enhanced global competitiveness were also noted.

Responding on behalf of the institution, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Charity Aremu, assured the NUC team that the achievements and commendations received by the University would serve as motivation for greater development. She stated that Venite University remains a work in progress with a vision of becoming one of Nigeria’s leading universities and a global reference point in higher education. The Vice Chancellor further assured the Commission that work had already commenced on all areas identified.

Also speaking during the visit, Hon. Dapo Kolawole, Member of the Governing Council and Director of Strategy, Advancement and Partnership, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to full compliance with NUC standards through continuous human capacity development, standard infrastructure, and best practices in university administration.

The Chairman of the Venite University Accreditation Committee, Prof. Kehinde A. appreciated the NUC team for what he described as their objective and meticulous discharge of duty during the exercise. He also prayed for journey mercies for the team as they returned to their respective destinations after the successful completion of the validation tour.
