Venite University, Iloro Ekiti, is stirring lively with activity as the 2024/2025 Academic Session officially commenced on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
The campus has witnessed exciting arrival of fresh students arriving for registration, accompanied by their parents, while second-year students return in smaller groups to resume their studies.
In line with its commitment to providing a seamless, 21st-century learning environment, Venite University is set to begin its highly anticipated fresher orientation programme on Monday, December 2nd, 2024.
The five-day event is meticulously designed to introduce new students to the institution’s policies, integrate them into campus life, and foster a strong sense of community.
Day 1 will include registration, a warm welcome by the Vice-Chancellor, and key presentations on the university’s vision and mission, financial matters, hostel regulations, security awareness, and the relevance of ICT in education.
These sessions will be followed by open discussions and refreshments.
The second day will feature enlightening talks on examination regulations, coping with peer pressure, dressing standards, and entrepreneurial skills. The day also promises engaging discussions on character building and personal development.
On Day 3, freshers will enjoy a cultural introduction by Iloro Ekiti community leaders, complemented by entertainment, medical checks, and a concluding familiarization tour of the neighboring community on day 4 and day 5 respectively.
