2024/2025 Venite Fresher Orientation Programme Day 3: Officials inspire towards Academic Excellence and growth

As Venite University continued its ascent towards academic preeminence, the Day 3 Orientation Programme proved to be a resounding success, replete with enriching and informative sessions that kindled the students’ intellectual curiosity. Esteemed facilitators and guest speakers shared their expertise and insights with the fresh students, providing a constant reminder that their time at Venite University is a chance to explore, learn and grow in a conducive environment that fosters academic excellence.

The University Orator, Prof. Malomo, introduced the Chairman of the programme, Prof. Aduloju K. A. who delivered an opening remark, setting the tone for a day of intellectual enrichment and edification.

Mr. Samuel Lowen delivered a powerful and enlightening lecture on the proper use and maintenance of university infrastructure, underscoring its critical role in fostering a sustainable academic environment. His insights emphasized the shared responsibility of students in preserving these facilities, ensuring they remain valuable assets for future generations.

Prof. Malomo, the revered Dean of Students Affairs, delivered a lecture on the role of students affairs, emphasizing the importance of discipline, time management and responsible behaviour. He reiterated that the university will not condone any acts of indiscipline.

Goodwill messages from Dr. Mrs. Oye, Mrs. Oyerinde and Mr. Ayodeji further reinforced the importance of discipline, morality and diligence. The session concluded on a high note, with students showcasing their talents in an admixture of fun and entertainment, reaffirming the university’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation.

As Prof. Malomo took the students through the names of the principal officers of the university, it was clear that Venite University is poised to produce morally upright individuals who will make a positive impact in society.

Furthermore, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Rev. Father James Adeola Olaogun, imparted valuable knowledge on the etiquette of addressing important personalities on formal occasions, thereby empowering the students with essential life skills.

The Chairman of the occasion, Prof. K.A. Aduloju, assured the students that Venite University possesses the wherewithal to nurture them into great individuals, equipped with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to excel in their chosen fields.
