Venite University Iloro-Ekiti Receives NUC Accreditation Team for Computing Sciences Programmes

The Management of Venite University Iloro-Ekiti, led by the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. K. A. Aduloju, was pleased to receive the National Universities Commission accreditation team on campus.

The visiting team arrived to assess three Computing programmes that have reached maturity for accreditation: Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, and Computer Science. They were received by the Head of Department, Computing,Prof. K.K. Agbele who coordinated the evaluation process across all programmes.

During the visit, the NUC officials conducted a comprehensive review of the university’s academic resources and learning facilities. Their assessment covered the library holdings, E-library resources, staffing adequacy, student quality, laboratories, academic regulations and other key infrastructures required for effective programme delivery.

As the university awaits the official report, Prof. Aduloju reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to providing quality education, fostering innovation, and contributing meaningfully to national and continental development. Venite University Iloro-Ekiti restated its dedication to building an institution that empowers students and advances knowledge in critical areas of Computing.
