On the Warm & Sunny afternoon of Wednesday, November 27th, 2024,the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Visitor, Prof. Patrick Oladipo Aina, alongside distinguished dignitaries accompanied by members of the Governing Council, Dr. (Mrs.) Nike Kolawole, Registrar, Dr. Ezekiel Agbaje, Chairman, Committee of Deans, Prof. Babatope Alo, Dean of Students Affairs, Prof. Dosu Malomo and Director of Strategy, Advancement and Partnership, Hon. Dapo Kolawole addressed Venite’s freshers with a compelling message on time management and personal discipline.
Prof. Aina emphasized the importance of mastering time management as a critical skill for academic and personal success. He urged the freshers not to misuse the new found freedom that comes with campus life but to channel their energy into productive activities that align with their goals. “This is a time to lay the foundation for a brighter future. Use your time wisely and make choices that reflect the greatness you aspire for,” he remarked.
The event, anchored with exceptional flair, was a blend of inspiration, education, and entertainment. Director of Strategy, Advancement and Partnership, Hon. Dapo Kolawole seized the opportunity to nurture the students’ public speaking skills by inviting nearly 20 students to express their vote of thanks to Prof. Patrick Oladipo Aina. This interactive session not only fostered confidence but also provided a platform for freshers to practice articulating their thoughts before an audience.
Dignitaries in attendance echoed Prof. Aina’s sentiments, with the Director of Strategy, Advancement and Partnership highlighting the role of discipline in achieving excellence and importance of the BOT Chairman/Visitor’s visit.
The Chairman, Committee of Deans reiterated the institution’s commitment to providing an environment that fosters holistic development, urging the students to take full advantage of the resources available to them.
